Our Original Antique Tanks
are cleaned, sanitized, water tested, and inspected for the tiniest flaws. Please keep in mind that tanks will show normal signs of use and wear.
All Tanks Include: Brass flush Valve, Porcelain “Press” flush Lever, and a Flush Tube in your choice of Chrome, Brass, or
Polished Nickel. Ordering one tank and one bowl will give you a complete, ready-to-install toilet with all hardware. (Seat sold separately).
All Tanks are Water Tested and Guaranteed to flush properly when paired with the correct bowl.
Tanks are graded for condition using the following guidlines:
Tanks described as “Excellent”
are as nearly new as possible with no visible damage and at least 90% of their original surface luster.. Keep in mind that a tank from 1910 rated as “excellent” might have more signs of wear than a tank from 1950 with the same rating.
Tanks described as “Very Good”
have at least 80% of the original luster but might have small chips, crazing, or discolorations in places where most people wouldn’t notice them.
Tanks described as “Good” are perfectly useable but have visible stains, cracks, chips, or other flaws.
We generally don’t
handle anything rated “Poor” unless it is a particularly rare or unusual item. “Poor” would indicate a structurally sound tank with with very noticable
blemishes or chips.
Color:
“AW” indicates “Antique White. “MW” indicates “Modern White” Toilet colors vary from brand to brand, so you should match a bowl to the same brand of tank. Tanks and bowls made after about 1954 and refinished items will be the brighter, modern white color. If you are going to have new or refinished fixtures in the bathroom, you should select Modern White fixtures to insure a color match.
Outlet Center:
Measurement from wall to center of outlet. This measurement can be important for determining flush tube offset when used as a high tank or with a top-spud bowl.
Tank Bottom:
will be listed as “F” for finished or “U” for unglazed. This is only a concern if the tank is going to be used as a high tank where the bottom of the tank can be seen.
Subtract $150 from prices shown if only the tank and lid (no hardware) is desired.
