Description

Retrim kit for American Standard shelfback sinks that have a 5/16″ bonnet nut thread length. Kit consists of two modified stems, two escutcheons, two escutcheon nipples, and 1 pair of handles.  This kit works in about 5% of Standard Companion sinks.

Ordering this kit will require a bit of homework on your part first, as Standard used two different stems in identical looking sinks.  Remove the existing stems from your sink after shutting off the water.  Note the length of the large fine thread on your bonnet nut.  See picture of bonnet nuts in the gallery view.  You’ll have two options, either the thread will be 5/16” long or it will be 1/2” long.  Once you know the length, you can order our re-trim kits, or if you’d like to just get both bonnets, add the 081bonnet to your order just above.

If the Bonnet nut thread length on your stems is 1/2″, you will need the 86-081HM kit.
