Retrim Kit for 1932-mid 1950’s American Standard ceramic spout shelfback sinks that have stem bonnets whose thread is 1/2″ long. Kit consists of 2 modified stems, two escutcheons, two escutcheon nipples, and 1 pair of handles.  This kit works in 95% of Standard Companion sinks.

Ordering this kit will require a bit of homework on your part first, as Standard used two different stems in identical looking sinks.  Remove the existing stems from your sink after shutting off the water.  Note the length of the larger diameter male fine thread on your bonnet nut.  Take a quick look at the photo gallery for this kit.  You’ll have two options, either the thread will be 5/16” long or it will be 1/2” long.  Once you know the length, you can order our re-trim kits.  This kit fits sink faucets that have the 1/2″ long bonnet nut thread.  If your Bonnet nut’s thread is 5/16″ long, you will need the 86-061HM
