Description
Crane pre-war widespread Lavatory Stem
5-3/4” overall length, 1/2” diameter. Fits Corwith, Elegia, Ovation, Nova, and pre-war Diana sinks made after the late 1920’s. Same stem used for hot & cold. If your escutcheon screws on to the valve, and there isn’t a nut holding the escutcheon down, this is the stem for you. Made in the USA.
Note; For several years in the late ‘20’s and early ‘30’s, Crane used a square broach on the end of the stem. This is the square topped version. You have to remove the stem and compare it to both this stem and the #86-511HC stem. Both appear identical when installed in valve body.
The seat for this stem is #23-X15
The bibb screw for this stem is #23-1032L
The bibb washer for this stem is #65-A323
