Fits most post-war Crane faucets up until the early 1970’s. Original stems will have “L” (left/hot) or “R” (right/cold) stamped into them. Faucets with either Drexel or Criterion handles will use two “L” (hot) stems, faucets with winged canopy handles use one of each. These cartridges are 2-3/8″ long and have a 12-point spline. Each one includes bonnet washer, seals, and handle insert. Plumber’s grease needs to be used on cork bonnet washer to help seal unit. If you work on a lot of these (or if you want to make the removal of the stem easier) we suggest the Crane Bonnet Nut Wrench. The $12.75 units are USA made!
