Description

This is a aftermarket replacement for the American Standard #5 flush valve found in most close coupled Standard toilets made from the late 1950’s up through the 1970’s.  These are easy to identify, as they have a black plastic “timing cup” that holds the flush valve open while the toilet cycles.  This particular one only works on Close coupled Standard toilets.  If you have a one piece (AKA Lowboy) toilet, you’ll need the #4 flush valve.
