Description

Crane Pre-war Slant-back Kitchen Stem
4 1/8″ overall, stem shank is 3/8″ in diameter.  Used in nearly all Sunnyday, Kitchen Queen, and Homemaker faucets set at the “odd, 45-degree angled deck on 11″ centers”. If the metal escutcheons unscrew off the valve and aren’t retained by escutcheon nuts, this is most likely your stem. This stem does show up in lavatory applications as well.  Made in the USA.

Please note; some early Crane kitchen faucets made before 1928 had a slightly smaller diameter thread on the outside of the stem.  This stem can be re-milled to work, there is an additional labor charge of $100 per stem to do the millwork.  Call or e-mail for details.

The seat for this stem is #23-X12.
The bibb screw for this stem is #23-1032L
