Description
So, you bought that really cool old pedestal sink at your local architectural Salvage yard, got it home, and you discovered some peculiarities about it. The center hole in the sink is extra-large, and there’s no overflow cast into the sink. What to do? Your sink was made for one of these drains! It’s called a Standing waste or Bi-transit drain, and it’s both the drain and the overflow.
These drains are very dimensionally specific, your sink HAS to match these dimensions.
Sink depth is 6″
Minimum size for center hole is 1 7/8″, maximum is 2 1/8′
Minimum sink drain hole diameter is 1 3/8″, maximum thickness of sink at drain hole is 5/8″
Drain hole can be up to 10″ offset from center hole.
Drain outlet is 1 1/4″
This drain is a restored original drain, finish is Polished nickel. One only!
If your sink doesn’t match the above dimensions, send us an e-mail with your needed dimensions and we’ll check and see if we have one that matches your needs.
