“Eastlake” Style Oak Shaving Cabinet
Nice carved accents in the door, and original brass hardware date this piece back to the turn of the 20th century. The cabinet appears to have been restored at one time and is in nice shape for it’s age. There are two separate drawers on the bottom for your straight razors. This keeps the kids from running with them! The cabinet stands 25 1/4″ tall, 15 3/4″ wide, and extends out 8 1/2″. The only interesting thing about this one is the pull on the door. It appears original, but it’s the older type of latch where a piece of brass rotates on a pin and is turned horizontal to keep the door shut. It’s a bit tricky to open….
