Description
I was a bit surprised by the early date on this sink. The sink is dated 7 of 1928, but the drain operator and trim didn’t come out until the mid-1930’s. We believe that the faucet was replaced with a newer model sometime in the mid to late 1930’s. This faucet’s been fully restored in the original chrome finish and has had new seats, stems installed, and all rubber seals replaced. This sink is made of porcelain, and is 27″ wide, 22″ front to back, and stands 31″ tall. As for condition, it really is about as good as one can get for a sink that’s 97 years old. There’s a couple tiny “grain of sand” sized dings to the right of the spout, but that’s it.
