Description
This sink is an extremely early Cast iron sink. It’s actually two parts, the basin is separate from the back of the sink. We had this sink refinished quite a while ago, but the pedestal that would have been originally under it was so badly broken that it wasn’t salvageable. We will include if the customer would like it. Made by J.L. Mott Iron works, it has a patent date of 1872. This was really before hot water was piped into homes, so that’s why there’s only one faucet mounting hole. Without the pedestal, the installer is going to have to be creative when mounting. We’re thinking a custom cabinet, but that hides the ornamented sink.
Sink measures 18 1/2″ along the sides, with a maximum extension of 21 1/4″. Sold AS-IS.
