Ballcocks  (also known as Fill valves)

pro45 new

Professional Grade Fluidmaster 400A Ballcock
The nice thing about these ballcocks is the brass shank extending down through the tank.  On hightanks, this eliminates the unsightly plastic shank extending below the tank.  Valve supplied with plastic nuts. Metal nuts in Chrome, brass and nickel sold separately below.  These are the best on the market!

Standard Grade Fluidmaster 400A Ballcock
This ballcock is commonly used by most manufacturers.  Supplied with plastic nuts. Metal nuts in chrome, brass and nickel sold separately below.  Also, this ballcock replaces the Ifo ballcocks in the Aqua and Cascade toilets.  It doesn’t look anything like the Ifo valve, but it works the same.

Old-Style All Brass Ballcock
This is the fill valve one would have found supplied in almost every bottom-fill toilet tank made from the 1920’s up to the 1960’s.  Yes, they’re still around for the purist that doesn’t like plastic parts.  Supplied with raw (unpolished) nuts, Chrome, brass and nickel nuts sold separately below

Rear-Inlet (Curtin Rotary) Ballcock
This Ballcock is used in toilets where the water feeds into the tank right through the back of the tank.  Popular during the mid to late 1920’s through the mid 1930’s.  Inlet of ballcock is 3/8” pipe.  There were several varieties of these, this one is the only currently being reproduced.  Rebuild parts are available, see bottom of this webpage

Side fill Ballcock
Here we have the correct fill valve for the early wooden hightanks.  This valve actually has the mounts cast into the valve body, so it’s just a matter of attaching the valve to the top of the tank.  Supplied with a brass float rod and copper float, this valve’s inlet is 1/2” IPS thread.  No need for having to rig a mount like you would with the below version.

Side fill (or over-the-top) Ballcock
This duplicates one of the earliest forms of fill valves.  These were used in early hightanks dating back to the turn of the 20th century where the fill valve mounted through the side of the tank.  Note, these have no provision for bowl refill. Finished nuts not available

Rebuild parts for Curtin Rotary Ballcocks

Please note, these parts fit ONLY Curtin Rotary ballcocks.  There were other brands of rear inlet ballcocks made many years ago.  If your fill valve does not match the photo of our 47-CT120 and does not say “Curtin Rotary” on it, these parts will not work
