We suspect this tank was made by Peerless, but the logo was long gone.  The mounting bracket has a patent date of 1907, so the tank was made sometime after that.  The tank was made of Quartersawn White Oak, and it measures 23 1/4″ wide by 18″ tall, and extends from the wall 8 1/4″.  The tank’s outlet centerline is 4″, and this tank is intended to mount 6″ or so above the toilet bowl.  We’ve refinished the tank in what we hope was close to the correct color, and the push lever has been replated in Polished Nickel.  As for condition, the roll on the bottom was cut away 1″ from the back on both sides.  We felt that a repair would have looked worse than the cuts, so we left it.  See pics in the gallery.  One only, pair this with one of our original bowls, and you’ll have a nice, period set.  Supplied with matching Quartersawn Oak round-front toilet seat.
