Circa 1880 “The Burlington” Restored Hightank.
This is one awesome tank! Cast iron hightanks were the first tanks used in indoor “modern” plumbing. This one came in with traces of red paint on it, and it still had the original flush valve still in it. We had the tank stripped to remove any rust, and then powdercoated to a close as we could get shade of red. We then added a set of Thomas Crapper brackets and pull chain as the originals were missing. This tank measures 23″ wide by 16″ tall (including brackets). Fill valve enters on side. Pair this tank with one of our early painted bowls (like OTB13111) and have a toilet fit for a king!
