1916 (?) Standard Cast Iron Corner sink.
Yes, there’s a question mark next to the date. This is definitely an early sink, and that’s indicated by the polished metal overflow cover and separate mount soapdish. There are a set of numbers (2 16) cast in the back, but I would have expected to see square faucet holes in sinks of that date. Maybe this is the first with round holes, who knows? Anyway, this sink is in excellent shape for its age, there is a bit of chipping around the overflow and a few dings in the basin, but that’s it. This sink was in far too good of shape to refinish, so we left it alone. It measures 16″ along the sides, and extends into the room 22″. Faucet centers are 5 1/2″. We will replate the original overflow cover and supply a metal soapdish in the same finish. This is a nice corner sink, call for a freight quote today!
