Every now and then a miracle occurs, and we get a sink or toilet in that’s never been removed from it’s packing crate. Here we have one such item. This sink was cast in 1935, and the crate has not been opened until we did to check on it’s condition. That’s right, this sink sat in storage for 83 years! This sink measures 19 1/2″ wide by 16 1/2″ front to back, and is intended for single basin taps. It’s supplied with the original wall bracket, which is still screwed into the original crate that will be supplied as well.
As for condition, there’s a bit of “mottling” inside the basin, it looks like perhaps the straw that was used as packing had something in it that slightly etched the porcelain. Other than that, there’s no condition issues.
