1929 “Washington Potteries” Pedestal sink
This particular brand was primarily a West Coast Manufacturer and their products were used in many of the finest buildings built during the teens and ‘20’s. This particular sink shows the Art Deco influences so common back in those days. The original faucet is long gone, but this one came in with a modern faucet that looks and works great. There is a tight crack on the right rear, it’s not structural and will not cause a leak, but it’s there. Also, the pedestal has a silver dollar sized chip right at the top, but the only way it can be seen is by lying under the sink. Again, it does not affect the sink, but it’s there. The rest of the sink is excellent. Yes, the two issues do affect the price…. The sink measures 30 1/4” wide by 22 1/4 front to back, and stands 31 1/4” tall.
