Description
1902 (patent date) Tepeco Standing Waste Pedestal sink
We could only find the patent date on this sink. We’re thinking early teens for the actual manufacture date, but we could be off by 5 years either way. This sink features a fairly rare standing waste drain with a mixing spout. Basically, this was the earliest widespread faucet made. The spout on this sink is original, the hot and cold valves are “dummied” up to give you an idea of what it will look like. Faucets are supplied with the sink, in your choice of Coated brass, Chrome, or Polished Nickel. This sink is a generous 30 1/4″ wide by 24″ front to back, and it stands 31″ tall. There are a couple small chips on the top, and a very old barely visible watertight crack in the basin, that’s really it for condition issues. This is a nice sink for it’s age.
