OUB1751 John Douglas urinal

Circa 1890 John Douglas "Torrent" Urinal.
This is one cool urinal! It's made of porcelain, and features an unusual trap. This urinal has a built in trap, but the outlet is exposed. All you have to do is run a short 1 1/2" tailpiece down, and a wall arm to the drain in the wall. Condition is excellent for 120 years old, there are a few scuffs inside, and one thumbnail sized chip behind the trap. It is not exposed to the eye. This urinal is 23" tall by 18" wide and has an open drain. There is no provision for a grid. The fantastic John Douglas logo is located just to the right of the inlet. There was no date stamp anywhere to be found, but similar urinals date to between 1885 and 1920. The logo and style of script make this an earlier version. This is the best example of an early urinal that we've had in the last 20 years, don't let it escape!
