OCF17113

Circa 1958 Ceiling lamp
This is a nice mid-century piece.  It has a drop of 14 1/2”,  isn’t adjustable and the white glass reflector is 8 1/2” wide.  Single bulb, unswitched.  Remainder of lamp is plated brass and has been repolished.  Use this to illuminate your Wormley table today!

Ornate 5 bulb ceiling fixture
We feel this fixture dates to the late 1920’s.  It’s quite ornate, and the brass that was originally polished has been polished out.  This fixture will need decorative bulbs, as there’s no provision for shades.  The sockets are independantly switched.  This light fixture is 20” wide, has a maximum drop of 30”, and can be shortened.  This is a nice period fixture, grab it quick!

Historical Note: Light fixtures made before 1940 were typically made of brass but were often painted to give them some variety. Fixtures made after WWII were made from zinc as brass was in short supply during the war and were nearly always painted.

Surface mount 4 bulb fixture
This light fixture will tie directly to the electrical box.  Solid brass, we feel this is Circa 1930.  Sockets are switched, and this fixture is 18” across by 11” tall.  Glass is reproduction, but matches the overall appearance well.

“Edison” style 2 bulb ceiling light
Yes, the canopy is swinging down in the photo, please visualize it going up...  The chain on this light is very ornate, and we left the patina on the brass alone.  This one dates to the early 1920’s.  Glass is not original, but is a complimentary style.  This fixture is 16” wide and has a minumum drop of 24”, and can be extended to 36”.  Fully rewired.

Solid Brass Two bulb fixture
The style of this fixture says 1920’s.  It drops from the ceiling 31” and is not easily adjusted.  Fully rewired, ready to install.  Sockets are keyed.

Antique Lighting fixtures are extremely difficult to date with any accuracy; many have been modified or have had sockets and glassware replaced numerous times over the years as electrical and lighting requirements have evolved. Fixtures are restored to an as authentic state as possible using new electrical components and
original style parts & glassware. Light bulbs shown in fixtures are not included.
For breakage reasons, we do not ship light bulbs in less than case quantity.
Please keep in mind that most items are 50 to 100 years old and may show signs of normal use and wear. A detailed description and additonal photos are available of any item upon request.
