On our website, we hope you will find something to add sparkle to your bathroom. We feature a wide variety of fine antique and reproduction fixtures and accessories to enhance the turn-of-the-century decor and help create that special feeling of golden days gone by. Our policy is dedication to providing personalized service and prompt delivery, as we have since 1976. Bathroom Machineries , a division of Domestic Environmental Alternatives, is a well established specialty plumbing and supply store located in the historic Mother Lode town of Murphys, California.

Ordering: For your convenience, we offer several easy ways to order.
1.) Our secure Online Order Form will encrypt your credit card information for privacy and security. Please be sure to double check all information, especially your email address and telephone number before submitting the form. We do request a $10 minimum order for online orders

2.) Telephone Orders: Call 800-255-4426 (US only) or 209-728-2031 during regular office hours.(7 AM to 5 PM Pacific time, M-F, 10 AM to 4 PM Saturday.) Sorry, we cannot accept collect calls. Please have your credit card ready.

3.) FAX Orders: Print and fill out our Printable Order Form and FAX it to: 209-728-2320

4.) Mail Orders: If you prefer to pay with a check or money order, print and fill out our Printable Order Form and mail it with payment to:

5.) Debt cards: We do accept debt cards, please note that your account will be charged at time of order, rather than time of shipment. Debt cart must be of the Visa/Mastercard type.

Alaska & Hawaii: Orders shipped next day or 2nd day air only. We will charge you the actual amount charged us. Your credit card will be billed at the time of shipment. If you need to know the shipping amount ahead of time, please call or email us with your address, zip code and a description of the items you would like to order.

International Orders: We do request a $100 minimum order.
Customers outside the US may order by credit card only. (Sorry, no checks or money orders.) We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

The shipping amounts indicated by our online shopping cart are accurate for orders within the 48 contiguous United States only. Shipping for overseas and international orders will cost more and can be subject to tariffs, duties, and other fees.

Shipping: Our standard shipping method is via UPS ground shipment. Shipping rates within the continental United states are based on the dollar value of your order as follows:

Handling Charge: Effective 5/7/2008, a $2.00 handling charge will be added to all
orders. We hate to resort to this expedient, but short of raising prices across the board, this is the only way we can even partially offset the now nearly universal “fuel surcharges” being imposed upon us by every shipper and many of our suppliers.

Online Ordering note: Our online order form will calculate freight charges based on the above table but items that require special shipping or handling may not be reflected properly in the total. We will contact you if the actual shipping cost will be more than the amount returned by the automated form. Freight Calculations returned by our online shopping cart are only valid for orders shipped to destinations within the 48 United States and APO & FPO addresses. We do NOT use shipping as a “hidden profit center”, and promise to pass along only the actual shipping incurred in getting your items to you.
  Please be aware that not all items can ship immediately; selecting 3-day shipping does not guarantee that your order will arrive in 3 days, only that it will be shipped via a faster method.

Truck Freight: Tubs, Cast Iron sinks and other large items must be crated and shipped via common carrier. Crating charges may apply (see below). Please call with your address, zip code, and a description of the items you are interested in for a free freight quote. We will need to know if delivery is to be to a residential or commercial address. $100 to $250 is the typical price range for truck deliveries on large items. Scheduling your Plumber;
We understand that it can be difficult to arrange for a plumber to be at your location soon after your parts arrive, but please do not set up a visit from your local plumber BEFORE you order your parts. Wait for the parts to arrive before doing this. Bathroom Machineries cannot be held responsible for late arriving parts or temporary outages of parts that require the customer to reschedule their plumber. We will not expedite ship parts free of charge simply because you’ve scheduled your plumber before we’ve confirmed availability of said parts.

Privacy Policy: Information provided by our customers for the purpose of ordering merchandise and catalogs, including your email address, is kept strictly for our own use.

We do not sell our mailing list, nor do we deal with companies that sell unsolicited mailing lists. Your trust and repeat business is important to us and we promise not to use your personal information for any purpose other than providing you with the information and merchandise you have requested.

Shipping Disclaimer: Once merchandise leaves our warehouse, it becomes the responsibility of the shipper and the receiving party. The receiver (you) must open the package and report any damaged or missing items within seven (7) calendar days. After seven (7) calendar days, Bathroom Machineries will not be held responsible for damaged shipments or missing items. Be sure to check your shipment immediately upon arrival! We do not guarantee freight rates or delivery times other than to make reasonable estimates.

Returns: Stock merchandise may be returned within 60 days of purchase for an exchange, credit or refund of purchase price. A 15% restocking charge applies to merchandise returned after 60 days. Sorry, no returns after one year. If it is necessary to return an item, please return in original package, including a copy of the invoice, and ship via UPS or Insured Parcel Post. We cannot accept merchandise for return which has been improperly handled or abused.  Please include a short note of explanation if the item is defective.
NOTE: DEA is not responsible for return freight. Return shipping on truck freight orders can be substantial, so please be sure of your measurements before ordering large items. Canceled or refused orders will still be charged full freight.

A note about merchandise availability: If you need rush delivery or are planning to visit our showroom with the intent of purchasing merchandise you have seen on this website or in our catalog, please be aware that not all of the items in our inventory are available on a will-call or next-day basis. Many items are built, machined, and/or finished right on the premises as they are ordered.  Many custom and antique items may not be available for same-day pickup or rush delivery. We recommend that you call ahead to check availability, especially if you are planning on visiting or ordering on the weekend when our workshops are closed. 
 Though we stock about 90% of the items in our catalog, some items, including new pedestal sinks, new toilets, china shelves, Rohl faucets, 24-series basins, and new clawfoot tubs are sent factory-direct and/or may not be in-stock in all colors, finishes, or styles. 
 High and Low tank toilets are assembled and water tested as they ordered.. Next day delivery or will-call pickup may not be available without prior arrangement or deposit.
