These three pictures were taken from a 1952 Crane Catalog. The term “Temple trim” is the original Crane nomenclature. Sorry,
spouts are not available, but we can restore your existing one. If it is beyond repair, we have a very limited supply of some originals.

Crane Dial-ese replacement cartridge Fits most post-war Crane faucets up until the early 1970’s. Original
stems will have “L” (left) or “R” (right) stamped into them. Drexel and Criterion faucets use two “L” stems, faucets with canopy
handles use one of each. 2-3/8” long. Includes washers and seals, does not include handle inserts. 90-201C (R) stem, complete. 19.00 90-201H (L) stem, complete 19.00 Note; these valves do not use a seat, but there is a removable stop in
the valve body. They are available on a special order basis.

Crane pre-war Shower and Concealed deck Valve stem. 5-5/16” overall length. 3/8” diameter. Fits all Criteron & Rival concealed bath valves, Telsa, Agilis, and Rival Wall sinks. If the escutcheon is retained by a chrome knurled nut, this is your shower stem
86-501HC Crane Stem 42.00 ea. 23-X13 9/16” x 22 Valve seat for above 5.00

|
|
|
Crane pre-war Lavatory Stem 5-3/4” overall length, 1/2” diameter. Fits Corwith, Elegia, Ovation,
Nova, and pre-war Diana sinks made after the late 1920’s. Same stem used for hot & cold. If your escutcheon screws on to the valve, and there isn’t a
nut holding the escutcheon down, this is the stem for you Note; For several years in the late ‘20’s and early ‘30’s, Crane used a square
broach on the end of the stem. You have to remove the stem and compare it to both this stem and the 86-511HC stem below. Both appear identical when installed
in valve body. 86-101HC Crane Stem, splined top 67.00 ea. 86-121HC Crane Stem, square top 67.00 ea. 23-X15 11/16” x 22 Valve Seat for above 6.50 ea.

|
Crane Early Widespread Lavy Stem 5 3/4” overall, 1/2”
diameter stem, always square broach. This stem is used in early Crane pedestal sinks up to about 1925. Crane actually used the same valve body casting for
both this stem and the 86-101HC stem, they just re-tooled the interior threads. Both have the screw-on escutcheons. So, if you have a Crane widespread
lavatory, and it has a square top on the stem, you’ll need to pull the stem out and compare it against this picture and the one immediately above. If it
does not match this picture, you’ll need the 86-121HC available just above. Note; a left-handed version does exist, but is no longer made. Your only
solution would be to replace the valve body with an original 86-511HC Early version Lavy stem 75.99 23-X13 9/16” x 22 Valve seat for above 5.00

|
|
Crane pre-war Lavatory Stem 4-1/2” overall, 3/8” diameter. Used in most slant back and shelf back
wall hung lavatories, including early Drexel and canopy handle models. Same stem used for both hot and cold. Note; overall length can vary by application. If
your stem looks like this one, but is shorter, this one will still usually work, it simply moves the handles out a bit more. 86-041HC Crane Stem 40.00 23-X12 9/16” x 22 Valve seat for above 5.00 ea.

|
Crane Pre-war Slant-back Kitchen Stem 4”overall, stem
3/8” Used in nearly all Sunnyday, Kitchen Queen, and Homemaker faucets set at the “odd, 45 degree angled deck on 11” centers”. If the
metal escutcheons unscrew off the valve and aren’t retained by escutcheon nuts, this is most likely your stem. Please note; some early Crane kitchen faucets
made before 1928 had a slightly smaller diameter thread on the outside of the stem. This stem can be re-milled to work, but we’ll need your valve body here
to match the threads. 86-211HC Crane stem 37.50 23-X12 9/16” x 22 Valve seat for above 5.00 ea.

|
|
Crane Pre-War in-wall Shower Stem 6 3/4” overall, 1/2”
diameter. Used in most Tub and Shower applications where the escutcheon screws onto the valve body. Early versions did have the square broach and these stems
can be modified to work. May have either ceramic cross, 5 ball metal, or metal cross handles. Note; there are other lengths that look very similar, some are
available on a special order basis. 86-001HC Crane shower stem 69.00 23-X15 11/16” x 22 Valve Seat for above 6.50 ea.

Crane Lavatory Stem Hard to find stem fits Pre-war 6” centerset faucets used on Norwich, Clermont, and other
sinks. 3/8” diameter stem, barrel diameter just over 13/16”, 2-1/4” overall length. 86-071H Norwich hot stem 25.00 86-072C Norwich cold stem 25.00 23-X13 9/16” x 22 Valve seat for above 5.00 Or, depending on when your faucet was made 23-X12
9/16” x 22 valve seat for above stem. 5.00 ea.
|
|
|
|
Crane Lavatory Stem More common Lavatory stem, fits Oxford, and many
other 4” centerset faucets. Slightly smaller than the above 86-071 stem, measures 2 1/8” overall, 5/16” stem, and just over 5/8” barrel.
86-041H Crane Lavy stem 19.00 86-042C Crane Lavy stem 19.00 23-X12 9/16” x 22 valve seat. 5.00 ea.
